Port Sunlight Village
Built in 1888 by William Lever to house ‘Sunlight Soap’ factory workers, Port Sunlight is one of the finest examples of an industrial worker village in the world.
The village’s 900 Grade II listed houses and 130 acres of beautiful gardens and parks make it an inspiring place to explore all year round. Enjoy a guided, one hour coach tour of the village. After which time to explore at your own pace taking in the Port Sunlight Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery and Edwardian Worker’s Cottage. There are several places to eat and drink in Port Sunlight from traditional tea rooms and a comfortable pub to takeaway treats on the Museum Green.
