Explore the nearby Guildford and Leatherhead or simply relax and unwind amidst our serene surroundings during your visit at Thatchers Bar & Restaurant, where every moment promises a memorable experience. MONDAY Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Leatherhead to arrive late afternoon at the Thatchers Hotel.
TUESDAY We head for the picturesque town of Kingston-upon-Thames with its riverside setting. We have some time at leisure e before we depart for the splendid Royal Horticultural Society Garden at Wisley. The garden here is a place full of inspiration. Wisley offers ideas galore, with Wild Garden, Glasshouse, Model Gardens, Fruit Field, Arboretum and spectacular floral displays
WEDNESDAY Today we head South to the coast, and the famous resort of Brighton. We spend the day here. Enjoy a seafront stroll and explore the unique Lanes – a trendy area with cafes, bars, and shops, and an ideal spot for lunch. You may fancy a visit to the famous Royal Pavilion with its onion domes or just relax and watch the world go by. Late afternoon we head back to the hotel.
THURSDAY Today we travel through the rolling Surrey countryside to the county town of Guildford with its magnificent cathedral and cobbled high street. There is time to explore the individual shops and obtain lunch. This afternoon, we visit Denbies Wine Estate where we enjoy a 50-minute Vineyard tour by train. Commentary is provided on board, accompanied by a glass of Denbies Sparkling Wine.
FRIDAY After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home stopping for lunch en route.
