13 Days 18 - 30 May 2025

YOUR SHIP AMBITION
Ambassador’s second lady of the sea.  Aptly named to further emphasise Ambassador’s commitment to inspire and delight every guest to enjoy an authentic cruise experience effortlessly, and sustainably.  Ambition carries 1,200 passengers.  Dining options will inspire you with two main restaurants, speciality dining options and a more casual bistro-style café.  Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink in one of the four bars, lounges and pub.  Or take in a show in the tiered main theatre, or discover your hidden talents in the card room, library, and craft studio.  Other facilities include the wellness centre, gym, two swimming pools and a range of retail shops, perfect for days at sea.

SUNDAY  Depart kettlewell’s yard for our journey to Liverpool.

MONDAY ISLE OF MAN
Historic Douglas on the Isle of Man offers a relaxing experience for new and returning visitors alike.  Stroll along the famous seaside promenade for views of cultural sites like the Tower of Refuge, an historic sanctuary for shipwrecked sailors.

TUESDAY LONDONDERRY, NORTHERN IRELAND
Londonderry, on Northern Ireland’s northwest coast, showcases an historic cityscape with modern touches. Explore the banks of the River Foyle’s, visit medieval landmarks like the Guildhall, and embrace a cutting-edge culinary scene.

WEDNESDAY  At sea cruising make the most of what the ship has to offer from the pools & hot tubs. Work off some of those extra calories in the gym and wellness centre.  Try the casino out or the crafting studio.  Alternatively, just relax with a good book and a cocktail.

 THURSDAY RINGASKIDDY, SOUTHERN IRELAND
Nestled beside Cork Harbour, offers serene coastal walks along the Old Head Peninsula, a glimpse into maritime history at Ocean Escapes, and breathtaking views from the scenic Ringaskiddy Martello Tower, all surrounded by the pristine beauty of Ireland’s southern coast.

 FRIDAY  At sea cruising

SATURDAY ST PETER PORT, GUERNSEY
For over 800 years Castle Cornet has stood guard over St. Peter Port.  The attractive town is a delight with cobbled streets, steep stairways and alleyways winding their way down between the houses to a picturesque waterfront of grey and white stone buildings. Guernsey is geographically closer to France, yet loyal to the British crown, and this is reflected in the wonderful Anglo-French ambience around the town.  The second largest of the Channel Islands has a wonderful coastline with beautiful bays, and pastoral scenery that includes the handsome, much-prized Guernsey dairy cows.  The tax-free haven is perfect for duty-free shopping.

 SUNDAY – MONDAY  HONFLEUR, FRANCE
Ports don’t come any prettier than Honfleur on the Seine estuary. Colourful half-timbered houses jostle for position on the quays, along with art galleries and restaurants. Packed with things to see and do, it’s not for nothing that Honfleur is one of the most popular places to visit in France.

TUESDAY  CHERBOURG, FRANCE
Cherbourg on the Normandy coast has a long and storied relationship with the sea. Tour along coastal promenades, wander through fascinating quayside museums, and indulge in delicious local seafood.
